Channel: S.T.C Rail Productions
Player
Description
The first mainline steam engines to reappear in South Wales, since 60163 'Tornado' made a winter railtour to Cardiff back in December 2019.

Both BR 70000 'Britannia' & LMS 46100 'Royal Scot' are seen double-headed together passing Pontypool & New Inn, heading from Crewe H.S to Bristol Barton Hill for upcoming railtour workings. It was great seeing mainline steam making a returning charge through the Welsh Marches.

BR-Green D1944 (47501) was seen on the back of the support coach. The train was running late due to a passenger service running late in front of it.

Filmed by Scott Coombes, on Thursday 23rd July, 2020.
