Before chasing the trains on The Bodmin & Wenford Railway and capturing on film as much of the Diesel Gala, I gave Par and Redruth a visit. Sadly all the semaphores have gone and also the beloved HST's. The form of traction today are the Hitachi 800 and 802 Class serving London Paddington/Plymouth to and from Penzance. In this video I witnessed the DMU Class 150's on the Par to Newquay branch, and for the Locomotive enthusiast a GWR Locomotive Class 57 on The 'Down' Cornish Riviera Sleeper seen calling at Redruth. I tried to see the China Clay workings on my travels, but they proved to be too elusive for me. Maybe another time !
