I stopped for a while at Dasiyfield Junction Levelcrossing in Blackburn East Lancashire and observed the 1Q30 Network Rail Track Inspection Train running from Blackpool to Derby R.T.C.and was operated by HST Power Cars numbers 43277 and 43272.

The 0K05 light engine service running from Carlisle North Yard to Basford Hall Yard Crewe was operated by Direct Rail Services class 66 diesel locomotive number 66428.
