Description
Freightliner Class 90 locomotives 90043 & 90040 wearing a mixture of liveries are seen approaching Bamfurlong Junction on the west coast main line south of Wigan from the Leeds Liverpool canal banks on the morning of Saturday 29th August 2026.

The class 90s were working a long rake of empty containers wagons from Crewe Basford Hall Yard northbound to Coatbridge near Glasgow. If you look left you can see the empties better granted the bride hides this shot a touch.
