Royal Forest of Dean Autumn Steam Gala with BR Standard 4MT 80078, LNWR Webb Coal Tank 1054 & MORE!

This weekend The Forest of Dean Railway held their Autumn Steam Gala, with visiting guest locos BR Standard 4MT 80078 courtesy of Stewart Robinson and LNWR Coal Tank No. 1054, courtesy of the Bahamas Loco Society and the Keighley & Worth Valley, running alongside resident War Department (WD) Austerity 0-6-0ST saddle tank WD152 'Rennes', GWR pannier 9681 and Peckett & Sons Works No 2147 'Uskmouth 1'

A great line up of locomotives and some nice Autumnal conditions made for a good day of steam power as a comprehensive service of two passengers sets working with a full line freight, brake van rides double headers and more all helped to bring down the curtain on the final day of the Gala, so enjoy the coverage from Sunday as we right into the dark on the first day of November!
