Reading West is a busy station to watch both freight and passenger traffic, situated on main freight routes between London & The North, with trains heading to/from the quarries in Somerset and Southampton Docks, amongst other industries on the way. Recorded on a very dull and miserable 7th of October 2026, we see Class 59, 60, 66 & 67 from DB Cargo, Freightliner, Heavy Haul Rail & DC Rail.
