Channel: V I Media

Description
Journey Back to the 1970s to watch English Electric Class 55 Deltic locomotives hard at work on the East Coast Mainline hauling Anglo-Scottish passenger train expresses. By this time they had been dual braked and were dual heat. At the time they were the premiere diesel motive power in Great Britain, and were working the fastest passenger trains such as The Flying Scotsman and The Talisman. A role they kept until the introduction of the High Speed Train from 1978.
