Recently GTR have become Class 700 operations to/from London Kings Cross to replace the ageing Class 365 units on services to Peterborough & Cambridge (+ more soon). They also seem to be displacing Class 387 units from GTR that dont tend to have much luck anywhere, as they were completely replaced on the Thameslink route by Class 700's and can only find work on the ECML at present. May be an interesting future for them, should the 700's replace them too on the ECML. Note the Thameslink branding whilst operating under Great Northern franchise.
