Hamburg Harburg - located around 15 mins on a mainline service from Hamburg Hbf, a bit more on the S Bahn service. It is one of Europe's busiest stations for freight traffic, as well as loco hauled& intercity traffic - something for everyone! It isnt the best station by far for photography, however there is always something going on. Most traffic passes on either side of the station, so best if you go up the longest platform (6 i believe) to view all traffic. Not much freight passes the plaforms but on occasion it does as seen here. Anyway, if you have never been to Europe, i recommend this place as it is easy to get from from the UK, Hamburg has its own airport (Ryanair now fly there too). The last few clips are taken from my hotel window, where i requested a room over looking the line. The trains are noisy but you can't hear much at night! The hotel was B&B Hotel Hamburg Harburg, 10 mins walk from the station, lovely!
