HASTINGS THUMPER 1013 heads a railtour to MINEHEAD + WSR HOME FLEET in action at the WEST SOMERSET
We see the heritage unit as it arrives at Bishops Lydeard, taking priority over the waiting service train with WSR Mogul 9351 and Crompton D6566, before continuing up the line with the delayed inbound railtour owing to being late off St Leonards depot this morning, before arriving at Minehead, where passengers got off for a leg stretch.
We see the unit during its layover as the Mogul and Crompton arrive, and then follow the railtour back along the West Somerset as it firstly passes Blue Anchor, crossing the WSR service behind the recently overhauled 7828 'Odney Manor', before passing Williton and lastly its seen leaving Taunton heading home with the 1Z14 to Tonbridge.
We also see an initial shot showing DB Class 66 66063 (still wearing EWS colours) hurrying through with the China Clay wagons working 6V76 Westbury Down Yard - Goonbarrow Jn.
