Class 31
Videos featuring 31299
This video captures a visit to Stratford TMD during the summer of 1991, showing a range of stored and withdrawn locomotives, including several Class 50s and Class 31s. Among the locos featured is one of the 31s that famously fell down an embankment at Brent Cross. The depot was described as largely derelict at the time, though it remained in operation until 2001 when services were relocated. The site is now located under the Westfield shopping centre.
