Videos featuring 302212
A video captures events at Penrith North Lakes on a day when multiple train operations encountered issues. The 70000 ‘Britannia’ locomotive, part of a tour from Crewe to Carlisle, experienced a failure and was removed from service. Locomotive 37409 ‘Loch Awe’ was dispatched to assist but also faced problems on its return journey near Shap, causing disruption on the West Coast Main Line. The footage includes various trains and locations associated with the incident, including Carlisle, Crewe, and others, with multiple headcodes and stock numbers identified.
This video features a collection of historical photographs showcasing various locomotives and units at Birmingham New Street over the years. The images include a range of stock such as 153, 220, 302, 37, 43, 47, and 50 class units, with some notable examples including 37023, 43121, 47841, and several 50-class locomotives. The footage also references the changing landscape of the station and surrounding areas, including redevelopment works and changes to the skyline. Operators associated with the stock include British Railways, Network South East, Rail Express Systems, and Virgin Trains.
